Starters overall were lovely! The duck and steak mains received excellent feedback, fresh ingredients and cooked to perfection. The chips were all also cooked amazingly. The burgers both chicken and steak were tasty but a bit dry. Desserts were absolutely amazing, fresh and rich. My sticky toffee pudding was gorgeous and sorbets were fresh and rich. Brownie however came with raspberry ice-cream, but might have been better paired with vanilla ice-cream and some sort of custard/cream. Service was excellent. We attended for new years as we did last year, and both years, the pub seems to quieten down the closer you get to 12am. They gave us a free glass of Prosecco to celebrate new years which was nice!

What a stunning place, beautiful wood fires lit, ate "through the tunnel!" Decor was superb, staff brilliant and delicious food. Used this venue as meeting up with friends for lunch and am so thoroughly pleased that we came here. The Harrisa King Prawn Linguine was delicious, best cocktail as well. We were chatting away so much that forgot to photograph the food but have attached the cocktail

I think this might just be the best roast dinner I have ever had in a restaurant. I highly recommend. I had the roast chicken and the sticky toffee pudding, both of which were divine. Really lovely and attentive staff. Definitely coming back.

Nice country pub, we had steak sandwiches,with rosemary fries 🍟, delish 16.50£ not bad at all 👌

Went for Sunday lunch, absolutely fabulous! Great food, service and atmosphere. Wish I lived nearer, I would go every week 👍👍👍Dog friendly - they get a small "doggy" roast as well!

The whole experience was great. We had our lil date night with hubby and an 11 week old baby. The staff was so polite and helpful. Food amazing. Specially cauliflower soup 😋 cozy atmosphere at the back with few fire places, more busy at the front, so you can choose how you want to spend an evening.

Super experience at this venue. Food freshly cooked, hot and well presented. I had the special a lamb curry it was delicious! 🤤 the pub felt very clean and it’s tastefully decorated. Toilets extremely clean ladies.

Had a Sunday roast here and really enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere.. food was served quickly and was really well presented and tasted amazing.. highly recommended, and we will be visiting again
